Sheba is founder of Proxima Advisory, a consultancy providing transactional and strategic advice to high-net-worth clients. She regularly moderates discussions on Bermuda matters and is an experienced public speaker. Sheba joined the Board in 2015 and was appointed Co-Vice Chair of the Bermuda Society in 2020. An experienced cross-border corporate and finance lawyer in the City of London by background, Sheba has spent seven years as an English solicitor at leading UK and US law firms in London and a further 17 years with both Conyers and Carey Olsen in London, practising Bermuda and BVI law. She is a liveryman of the City of London Solicitors’ Company and has been granted the Freedom of the City of London.
